Going straight along the edge of fate,
 
Heartful human laughter needs inspiration deep;
 
But the kind of laughter children send
 
To mend their fears and tell the world they are set free again,
 
Needs inspiration from a silent spirit, an angel's voice,
 
One sounding as innocence transcendant,
 
As the voice of souls to come.
 
There are some few, I know of one,
 
Who hear this voice aloud and bright:
 
An opera of love begins each dawn for them,
 
And their eyes dance along fate's edge like all would like.
 
May they always come among us,
 
May they always find their comfort,
 
And may they always be among us,
 
May they always find a way to live among us.
