In 1997 Dr. Robert Wallerstein did a genetic analysis with the RT1 Probe at the Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. In the study of 64 patients with RTS, 15% showed the deletion by using hte RT1 Probe. Dr. Wallerstein continues his interest in RTS and welcomes contact from anyone needing help. He also speaks German and has volunteered to be available for any German speaking family when contacted.
